Belated Christmas Pictures

January has already been so busy! I keep thinking that I am going to get caught up but it doesn't seem to be happening. Ah well, I am embracing the fact that I have lots to do and not sweating the fact that I am only now putting up some Christmas pictures. This past year we had a family get together at Willie G's in Houston. It was great because we hadn't all been together in a while and we all enjoyed it tremendously. Here's a few pics from the day.

A few of the cousins, giving Finn some love.

The Santas! We have a tradition where the kids go sit on a chair and the Santas bring them their gift, while singing "Here Comes Santa Claus". We all sing it badly and most only know the first few lines. The real beauty of the tradition is that the gift recipient has to wear a fireman's hat with a siren on top of it. Yes, I'm serious, it really has a siren AND the siren makes noise. Aren't you sad that you weren't there? :)

Some other pictures of the cousins enjoying each other's company.

At one point the waiter offered to pull out one of the lobsters and let the kids see it. They loved it!

the line of presents awaiting their new owners.

Santa brought Sayer a transformer. He ripped open the packaging and was so excited when he saw it! He's all in to Transformers now. I really need to be educated in Transformers. Sayer is constantly correcting me on who is who and who is good or bad. He just sort of looks at me like , get it right Mommy!

By day's end, it was all too much for my little nephew Loudon.

The kids came home exhausted. We all had a great time and can't wait till next year (uh, I mean later this year).
